A member of the Valucre community, by the name of AmazonMonk, has started a kickstarter project by the name of Capoeira in Japan. The main point of the project is that it is an anthropological endeavor that seeks to explore the unity of two otherwise distinct and disparate cultures; that of the dynamic, expressive nature of Capoeira and its moderate success in the reserved, conservative community that Japan is best known for.
